Since the weather was abnormally warm this New Year weekend, it almost felt like Spring cleaning. great motivation!
As I went through all my "junk drawers" (yes, we have plural) I had a hard time throwing anything away... what if I might use that sometime...
One of the things I bought 2 years ago in our old place and moved it to our new house. First sign that I should toss it.
I only paid $6 for this, once again... just toss it! I couldn't....
Instead I decided I would find a new use for it.
It is a word decal that can stick to the wall or where ever you want. It reads " Welcome to our home". Original plan- front door- problem was that the door is black and so is the text...
before tossing it, I cut out the word HOME.
I picked a glass vase that I have and stuck the label to it...
So easy I want to make more!

I love it! Way to actually put something to use that you've held onto for so long. I have this same issue and need to work harder at just doing something with the things and stop buy more things to keep around the house...
