facing it

I have accepted that this pregnancy has caused me to have adult acne. I am not happy about it, but in the scheme of things, it could be worse.
I joke that this baby must be a girl because it is stealing all my beauty! From before I even knew I was pregnant, I had been having some skin issues, well now I know why because it has not gotten any better since then!

Some weeks are worse then others, but all in all, I am getting through it. And let's face it... it is just the beginning of the sacrifices I will make as a mother...

So through the last 16 weeks of acne issues, I have tried many things... exfoliating, different face washes (the cheap and expensive) professional facials, zit creams, toothpaste, hydrogen peroxide, washing twice a day, once a day or not at all... nothing has helped!

I looked into buying the Clarsonic Cleansing Brush, but for $150 I was nervous... would I be wasting the money.... So I found this little guy... The Olay Pro-X Cleansing Brush. I bought it this weekend at Bed Bath and Beyond with my coupon I only paid $25. I have used it twice, so obviously I have not seen results, but my face feels extra smooth and clean when I am done!!!


I will keep you posted on if it works, but in the mean time I will just accept that my baby wants me to have bad skin right now. these hormones are fun aren't they!!!
