6 months

half of her first year is over! It is really hard to believe. We were very blessed to have a lot of time to spend with Marra as she experienced many firsts in the past 2 months!

First Thanksgiving, first Christmas, first New Years, first solid foods, first time crawling.... she really has been a busy lady!

Stats: 20 lbs and 27 1/2 inches. She is still growing and healthy! 96 percentile for both height and weight! Her top two teeth are on the way down! She is currently wearing 9 month clothes and in some brands 12 months.
She has had sweet potatoes, avocado, apples, bananas and oatmeal. So far all homemade (except the oatmeal). Making baby food has been so fun for me!!

We hit a rough patch with sleeping around Christmas. We thought it was that she was off schedule, because I had so much time off work and she wasn't going to daycare. Then we thought it was because she was teething... or a growth spurt... so many factors to consider, but bottom line was we were dealing with newborn behavior!!
Then it hit me... we switched to Luvs brand diapers and she was sleeping in those.... I remembered seeing the Pampers commercial where it shows baby at 3 a.m. in Pampers asleep and then not in pampers at 3 a.m. crying...... so we switched back to Pampers for bed time.... would you believe that she has slept through the night ever since!!!!! Maybe it is coincidence, but believe me.... we are not taking ANY chances!!!


We love this little lady so much and are having so much fun watching her grow!
