Leaf Prints

I have been wanting botanical art for a long time. They are so expensive to buy in the stores, so I thought, why can't I make this myself?

I took leaves off of house plants that I had. I set them each inside a heavy book (dictionary) and then piled other books on top.
I left them for 3 days to dry and press.

I then glued each leaf to card stock.
I took the card stock and placed it in two 11x14 frames.

I am hanging these in my half bathroom. You will see the final product in my half bath make over post!
