Why are rugs so expensive???
Anyone know where to get a good deal on a rug?
I have seen lots of rugs at websites like
Pottery Barn
Garnett Hill
Flor Tiles
Target
in the end the size I need costs more then I want to spend.....
On that same note.... how do you feel about rugs on carpet?

Rugs on carpet, I go back and forth about. They look great, they protect the carpet, but like in our house... you are more apt to trip over them.
Have you looked on OverStock?
sigh...I am in the same boat. They are much more expensive than I anticipated...by a LOT!
Have you checked West Elm? It's owned by Pottery Barn and maybe a little less expensive than PB. I got a nice rug at Pottery Barn outlet last year. So, maybe hit the outlets? I've even been keeping my eye on goodwill and thrift stores, but coming up empty-handed! I'm starting to think it's going to have to be one of the big-ticket items :(
