living room update

our living room has been a constant struggle for me... it is the height of the ceilings that I just can not get used to...

I have updated the room a few times... As posted here and here

Since the room only have 2 walls and the rest is open, you can see my issue with furniture placement.
You can also see that over the years, I have had no problem adding more stuff.
We do not use this room for TV, we use the basement, so this is strictly a gather and relax room.

This is the room as of... maybe Spring 2011

Here is the status of the room now. Decorated for the Spring/Summer months.

The walls are painted- Smoked Oyster by Benjamin Moore
I have added a bookcase and some new throw pillows. The bookcase was purchased at the Scotts Antique Market. The pillows are mix of purchases from IKEA and Homegoods.

This is posted in part of a Link Up Party with Kellys Korner! My first time :) Welcome new readers.
